nformation clause for people taking part in the recruitment process for studies
Pursuant to Article 13, paragraph 1 and Article 13, paragraph 2 of General Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (UE) 2016/672 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC RODO (General Data Protection Regulation), we inform that:
- The Administrator of your personal data is University of Applied Sciences in Elbląg, ul. Wojska Polskiego 1 82-300 Elbląg.
- The Administrator appointed Data Protection Officer who can be contacted in matters concerning your personal data processing at iod@ans-elblag.pl.
- Your personal data will be processed in order to conduct recruitment procedures for studies.
- Legal basis of personal data processing:
- Article 6, paragraph 1, letter c RODO (General Data Protection Regulation) i.e. processing is necessary to fulfil the legal obligation incumbent on the administrator,
- Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science
- Article 6, paragraph 1 letter a RODO (General Data Protection Regulation) i.e consent of the data subject,
In case of processing data of specific categories ( e.g. concerning health in the context od adjusting recruitment requirements or course of studies for people with disabilities, a legal basis is:
- Article 9, paragraph 2, letter b RODO (General Data Protection Regulation) i.e. processing is necessary to fulfil duties an perform administrator`s special rights or a data subject, in the field of labour law, social security and social protection.
- In case of not being accepted for studies, your data will be subject to disposal after the appeal deadlines have passed.
- Your personal data will not be made available to other entities, except for entities authorized by the regulations of law. Staff and members of recruitment commissions authorized by the Administrator will have access to your data.
- Providing your personal data is voluntary, but in case you do not provide them you will not be able to participate in a recruitment process.
- On the terms specified by RODO (General Data Protection Regulation) you have the right to the access to your data, rectification and limitation of its processing and the right to lodge a complaint to President of the Personal Data Protection Office when you consider the processing to be a violation of RODO (General Data Protection Regulation).
- Your personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling, referred to in Aricle 4, item 4 of RODO (General Data Protection Regulation).
